  • Just thought I would share my experience. The staff at the Clark St location is great!. They spotted a defect on my last pair of glasses from a different optometrist and made sure the glasses that I purchased from them fit my face properly. The computer glasses that I was prescribed has reduced the eye strain that I was getting and my prescription sunglasses have helped my eyes feel better too. Meet Our Optometrist Dr. Mark Hrynewycz, O.D.

Dr. Mark Hrynewycz, O.D. (Optometrist) is an Illinois native and was raised in Bloomingdale.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He then attended the Illinois College of Optometry which included externships in pediatrics, contact lenses, and ocular disease.

Dr. Hrynewycz's main area of expertise is comprehensive family eye care.  This includes primary eye care,  including glasses and contact lenses for the whole family.  Dr. Hrynewycz starts seeing children as soon as they are ready to start kindergarten.  Dr. Hrynewycz keeps his practice up to date and always uses the latest technology available. Along with primary care, he specializes in treatment for those who suffer from ocular pathology.  He treats Dry Eye Disease, conjunctivitis, and various other eye conditions.
